HIS JOURNEY'S JUST BEGUN
Don't think of him as gone away-
his journey's just begun
life hold so many facets-
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost-
and he was loved so much.

Life seemed oh so bright

Life changed into night
Life was filled with darkness

And I'm not there to see;

I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,

And all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for a while,
I'd say goodbye and kiss you
And maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized,
That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
From His great golden throne,
He said "This is eternity,
And all I've promised you."
Today for life on earth is past,
But here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
And since each day's the same day
There's no longing for the past.
But you have been so faithful,
So trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things,
You knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven
And now at last you're free.
So won't you take my hand
And share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts without me,

The Brightest Star
When I was a child I'd look into the sky
and marvel at all the shining stars.
They'd capture my attention for hours.
There would always be one, bright, shining star
that stood out from the rest. The others were
still beautiful, but there was something special
about that one star ....
I still look into the sky and am amazed at the
beauty of the stars. I still see that one, bright,
shining star that seems to stand alone among the millions.
But, now when I see that star, I think of someone ...
Someone who is special and stands apart from all others...........
That someone is you
Father, although
