As the days pass,
And you ask yourself why,
Assuring it seems,
His tragedy must be a lie.
The feeling that you felt,
On that unforgettable night
Of the pain and cries,
Confusion to end in one last fight.
His thoughts of life,
To take the chance..
And to end the pain,
And dance the dance.
Were his struggles of pain,
From the drug inside
To run away from it all,
He just wanted to hide.
Always remember
And hold in your heart
Mike's memories of love and laughter
Will never be torn apart.
Remember him not
By the consuming meth
That robbed him of living
And led to his death.
But his spirit which now soars
A "real high" above
In the hands of the One
Who surrounds him with all heavenly love.
